The Destiny Homes Inc. story begins with our president, Rene van de Vendel. After immigrating from Europe, Rene had a vision to create a company that builds quality homes for satisfied customers. In 1992, his vision became reality when Destiny Homes Inc was established. Home building was only the beginning for Destiny Homes Inc. as he soon expanded into commercial and agricultural developments. His latest endeavor is to offer our clients Ready to Move Homes with the same built in quality as our custom homes.
Rene takes time to give back to his community. An active member of the Coaldale Chamber of Commerce, he is involved in many different fundraising and community oriented events.
A talented Euphonium player, Rene not only plays for the Lethbridge Community Band, he also serves as the Chairman of the board for this society. In November 2006, Rene lent his talents to help stage a concert to aid the ALS society. Rene was instrumental in making this project happen.
